Homemade Liqueurs

Banana Liqueur

Ingredients:

2 medium ripe bananas 
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 
2 cups sugar 
6 cups 80-proof Vodka 


Directions:

1) First peel and mash your bananas, and place mashed 
bananas in a gallon jar which can be sealed tightly. 
2) Add the vodka to the mashed bananas making sure that 
the mash is completely covered. 
3) Close your jar tightly and set aside to steep for 8 days. 
4) After 8 days, pour the mixture through a strainer to 
remove most of the banana 
5) Add sugar to the liquid. 
6) Next strain the liquid through a clean cotton cloth to 
remove the remaining sediment. 
7) Add the vanilla and stir. 
8) Now pour into some nice bottles and seal.
